NDA picks Jaswant Singh as its vice-presidential candidate

NEWS FLASH

The BJP-led NDA today named senior party leader and former Foreign Minister Jaswant Singh as its vice-presidential candidate.

The decision came after a meeting of party leaders at the home of LK Advani.

Jaswant Singh would face UPA's nominee Hamid Ansari in the vice-presidential poll which will be held on August 7.
