Maruti plant violence: Dead body identified as senior executive

The charred body recovered from Maruti's plant at Manesar in Haryana has been identified as that of a senior executive of the company. The victim, Avnish Kumar Dev, was the General Manager in the Human Resource department. Dev was the lone person to have died in the violent clashes between the workers and the management at the plant on Wednesday evening. Over 85 were also injured. 99 people have been arrested so far in connection with yesterday's violence.
