Rahul Gandhi has told NDTV that he will play a "more proactive role in the party and the government." "The decision has been taken, the timing is upto the leadership," he said. Like his mother, Sonia Gandhi, and the Prime Minister, Mr Gandhi voted today for Pranab Mukherjee as the new president of India. On Wednesday, Mrs Gandhi told NDTV that "Rahul alone" woulod have to decide whether to take on a bigger role.
