Spartech's Best to speak at Atlanta event

Spartech Corp. of Clayton, Mo., is known for producing compounds, concentrates, rollstock products and packaging technologies. In this role, it has been an innovator in the category of sustainability.

During Plastics News' Sustainable Plastics Packaging 2012 conference, Spartech's director of marketing, Jeffrey Best, will update the industry on sustainability initiatives. Its most recent products include the 1-Seal technology. Using an in-mold label, the technology caps and seals in one step by leaving a portion of the label surface exposed inside the lid.

The conference will be held Dec. 3-5 at the Westin Atlanta Airport. See coverage from the 2010 event and find out more about the upcoming conference at www.plasticsnews.com/spp2012.
