Kandy Women's Chamber Hosts Hambantota Chamber Feb 9th 2013, 22:05 A delegation from the Women’s Wing of the Hambantota District Chamber of Commerce visited the Central Province Women’s Chamber of Commerce recently to familiarize itself with the work of the Kandy Chamber and to learn about business development strategies to help women entrepreneurs. Past President of the Hambantota Chamber Asmi Thassim, led the delegation. The other members included the President of the Women’s Wing Chithra Sumanaseeli, Secretary W. M. Shriyani, Treasurer M. S. Nandawathie, CEO Krishanthi Weerasinghe, USAID Representative Supun Nanayakkara, and members of the Board of Directors. The President of the Central Province Women’s Chamber (CPWC) Shirley Jayawardane six members of the Board of Directors of CPWC and its senior staff took part in the discussion.
